Africa, and Kenya in particular, is well known for it's open grasslands and beautiful animals. Not as well known, but at least as beautiful, are the African sunsets. The huge open grasslands enable stunning sunsets, especially with animals against these sunsets.
With this particular sunset, we were able to enjoy a group of giraffes having dinner in front of the setting sun. We were thrilled when one of the giraffes moved away from the bush and walked right in front of the sun. The the sun behind the giraffe gave it a beautiful glow.
This was definitely one of the most beautiful sunsets we have ever seen.
